Olivia Cave Hotel

Everything, our room was super clean and had all facilities. The staff is so kind and they help us always. Breakfast is delicious, the kitchen is crystal clean all the time and you can find delicious lunches and dinners for a good price. We really enjoyed our short time in this hotel, it is lovely. If you want to do hot air balloon activity, they can offer you and is good.

Location was great just off a main road so not much noise but few minutes walk to good restaurants, shops, taxi rank and bus stops. The staff were lovely and happy to give advice on good local walks and how to get to other sites without pushing you towards booking trips. They were also happy to arrange my Hot Air Balloon ride which was fantastic and I was happy with the company they recommended for this. The hotel provided a nice breakfast and had an onset restaurant though I didn't use this. Location was also good for walking to Goreme Open Air Museum and even to doing a couple of the valley walks on your own. Bus station which is only a couple of minutes from the hotel has local buses running to Uchisar Castle and onwards to Kaymakali Underground City. Room was spacious and had everything required and overall very good value for money.

We stayed at this hotel for four nights during our first visit to Istanbul. We loved this hotel very much. We think it is the best hotel in Karakoy. The hotel is conveniently located and easy to reach all attractions. We are very grateful to Mr. Efe and Mr. Harun from the reception team and especially Mr. Sedat, the front desk chief, for their help during our stay. Mr. Sedat arranged a great room for us with a view of the main historical sites of Istanbul. The room was very clean. The breakfast was rich and the environment was very nice. They arranged the best vehicle to pick us up and drop us off at the airport. We would recommend this hotel to everyone. We thank the reception team and the hotel manager for everything. Thank Mr. Sedat for the very warm send-off.

Had a great stay at Olivia Hotel, location was ideal, easily to walk the whole town. Great view and the breakfast and dinner menu was good. The hotel has a lovely roof terrace and restaurant that looks over the town and great reading spot. The hotel staff was great at arranging activities like the hot air balloon and quad biking.

PARKING: well just on the street in front of the hotel. Nothing more. But the area looked safe. Two days we always found a spot for our car with no issue. I couldn't ask for more. CHECK-IN: easy, on time, friendly. STAFF: nice and willing to offer us all the possible experience of the area. If you are not interested they will stop. So it's a good balance between opportunities and respect of your inner peace. WIFI/VPN: works, but don't forget Booking.com is blocked for Turks, so for your research you need a foreign IP via VPN or roaming. SIZE: very good. Larger than what we could hope for. CLEAN: Seemed ok. Well indeed it was very clean. Despite the decoration grooves, the place is kept fit for a very good quality level. BATHROOM: good. Finally we found a shower box large enough as if we were at home. LOCATION: in the village center. You don't have to ask for more. SERVICES AROUND: besides scam atm machines and restaurant tourist traps, everything else is a charming experience and delicious food adventure! WHAT I REALLY LIKED: Breakfast on the rooftop is AMAZING! Especially if there are some airbaloons still floating around. But even if not, the view around to the Cappadocia chimneys is astonishing during sunrise! And even if you cannot enjoy it, the food is gorgeous and that already is worth to be in this place!
